@soepil @soepil right. cool. I shared flats in leeds with marc & dave. and played the bass. still do off and on as it happens. they asked me to help out and obv i was glad to. was marc, dave, annie, me, in studio. they moved away not long after & i lost touch unfortunately & the mambas went their own way. borrowed an original longhorn from studio owner - "link wray bass" i called it (see yellow ace compilation for why). many years later saw a repro in a shop so i had to buy it. still have it.

@chesterrocket : Well, that's just cool :-) How did you get involved in this recording ? I've got the fan club 12-inch, and it inspired me to try and write a similar track, synths with bass guitar :-) when I was in my late teens.
