  • This song was way ahead of its time.

  • 1982 when she was 16. As for Ray of Light Madonna steals from everybody, she has the money after all.

  • Sheila is hot!!

  • For God's sake do not dare to compare Chandra with Shakira. Shakira dances an acrobatic adaptation of belly dance ( Arabic) and copies Sinead O' Connor and Alanis Morissette's style of singing, Sheila Chandra is performing here a mix of Indian ( Ifrom INDIA!!!) and western dance- music-interpretation..., she doesnt need to expose her body and color her hair blond to show her unique talent

  • i hope people realise this is not muslim shit

  • @666oelewapper Shakira's is not the original, but Sheila Chandra is

  • @666oelewapper Shakira was about 5 years old when Monsoon released this version of this song! LOL

  • wow it would take two decades for this song to be appreciated via Jakatta's masterful remix

  • This great track Ever So Lonely Monsoon.

  • I remember when this song came out I thought it would revolutionise music as a new fusion of east and west musical styles, but then it all but disappeared until Kula Shaker and Bhangra in the 90's. Still sounds as fresh as it did 29 years ago!

  • Like the original by Shakira more
