  • It clearly says in the credits that it is Cher singing the song, not Whitney Houston, just so you know.

  • Thanks for correction on singer

  • Best closing credits. Quite effective in a theater. Many talented people collaborating- beautiful.

  • OMG, I can't believe I found this on youtube....I've loved this version of this song for ages, and used to sit and rewind just the last 3 minutes of the movie tape over and over again just to hear this song, many times over. It plays in my head a lot and something told me to come here tonight to see if by any chance it just might be on youtube....I love watching the end creds while listening to the song. One of the best songs ever--the words are brilliant.

  • @TheKenfig absolutely !

  • @Shimmeringsmiley True, it's like mistaking Cilla for Cher

  • @midmodgal Don't forget the genius of Bacharach & David

  • NO versions of this song featured in the film, not even Cillas' version.

  • LOL... the movie credits say 1965 and Whitney was born in 1963! Even Cher was a teenager when she sang this.

  • No contest Cher owns this song, Sonny 's excellent production must be noted.

  • @nickfruhling How could someone mistake Whitney for Cher?
