Justin didn't have any say in what was released from that first album, not at all.
Having said that, I wish the powers-that-be had released this as a single, because this is easily my favorite Justin song of ALL time. His rendition is so passionate and emotional, it breaks my heart every time I hear it. I love this man!

Justin did a terrible mistake by not releasing the song as a single..Brian McKnight pen the song for Justin Guarini and he also give the song to Korean duo Fly To The Sky at the same year.Basically in 2002,the song was recorded and released in 2 versions.Honestly, I think the Korean version is better since it's a blend between two voices:Brian's soothing voice and Hwanhee's deep tone.Try listening to it-U might agree with me
