No, not at all, just unplug the two plugs from the stock light and plug the new one.

Only the back seat needed to come off. You then need to unscrew the 3 screws that hold the OEM tail kit, make sure you disconnect the wires first.

how good can you see the turn signals from a distance, coz its really bad if the whole light is small.

The LED are very clear and strong and can be seen from a good distance.
