To veil or not to veil...

A very current topic within western societies. Muslim women have been at the centre of many news pieces regarding the rights to cover themselves or not.

Muslim girls who contribute to the On Road project decided to make their own piece regarding the issue. The video was scripted, shot and edited by young people from Camden.

If a female does not wear hijab..then as some say she is disobeying god. So why get all frustrated abt it..it is between her and god...people should just mind their own business..the only thing u should worry abt is the 'Hakook al Ibad'..how does she treat fellow humans around her. Hijab etc is her choice so do not try pulling them down..as this is an external thing which people feel they have the right to judge. Leave women alone if they do or do not wear it.

i have no problem with the hijab or practically any other conservative or religious garment in a western society, the veil though crosses the line, I like the police and security to be able to identify any individual easily.

yes it does matter because people will get affected by her wearing or not wearing hijab,,,hijab has so many benefits that one can notice only when it is worn..its not only a personal thing but a social responsability...check out the rate of rapes in the west and muslim countries and u' ll know what I'm talking about
