@anassb10 Calm down. I never actually kept this slim model for very long as I buy these products to make videos and then return them. No money wasted.

Dude, have the bran new 320 GB/GO PS3, and the thing still sound like a paper shredder, upon insertion of the disc. Also was wondering if it's best to lay it flat, or does it have any long term affects if I stand it up-right ...Thx man!

@salriggione The sound of the disc insertion is normal. It just sounds plain horrible. From what most people are saying, laying your PS3 flat is the best way because of the airflow, apparently. Though, standing up your PS3 vertically won't decrease the system's life span by much at all. I don't think that has even been proven yet.
