If tame and taken outdoors I'd clip wings whenever their flight is too strong
but these type of birds are very nervous and not usually tamed

hello im just wondering about my 2doves maybe u might know ok..at nite when i turn there light out and cover the cage the boy everynite flies around in the cage running into the cage and hurting his wings i dont understand why! the girl doesnt do nothing to the boy he just flies into the cage all the time when the light is off. do u have any idea wat it could be from?? and its not cuz of fly time i leave the cage open 11am to 11pm i just dont know wats wrong with him! :(

A night light helps a lot!
I can hear flying around sounds coming from the bird room during some nights. Nothing is wrong. They might have been bumped off their perch, by another bird, by accident or spooked by an outdoor sound. Barn owls can be found flying around at night in every part of the USA! They often make shrieking sounds that can startle humans as well ;-)
... a night light would help a lot
