  • @ghettojustin Black folk in California that are from what folk would call the hood do sound a little like the ones from the south because they people came directly from here. The ones up north aint nothing like the ones here because they dont have that southern drawl or what ever you would like to call it.

  • @mattdogg65 Pretty much they label our dialect as slang. It aint slang just another way of english.

  • @Rufusdos It really depends because I dont pronounce my r's in certain things. (Also I dont say things I say thangs) i know that because im from the south but when I say part I drag the "a", but its white people to that are from the south who dont say their r's alot. I know for -ing words I always drop the g and instead of saying going I say gonna or goin. It really depends because i naturally do it.

  • I heard that African American Vernacular English was non-rhotic (the 'r' after vowels in words like "verse" "worse" and "part" isn't pronounced). Can I have a second opinion because in this video I heard loads of 'r's. Maybe this isn't a good example of AAVE?

  • @whsurz Its a fucking dialect...there are alot of dialects..white people have them to. The problem is that if white people dont use it...its not correct thats all. -____- Not incorrect...just a dialect.

  • @whsurz suck a black dick bitch..

  • still slave

  • c that white boy has better flow lol

  • @ghettojustin god dammit you're stupid I KNOW the difference that is why I'm asking what a black person sounds like because not all black people talk the same you can't say someone talks like a black person because black people talk differently than others.....do you understand now?!?!?! Where in any of my statements did I say I don't know the difference between a NY black and a southern one?! Jesus christ how old are you 12?

  • @mattdogg65 Like I said before you might not be able to tell the difference but black people can. DMX , Biggie smalls, 50 cent etc sound like black new yorkers. Lil wayne sounds like a black person from N.O. Black people already know this. Don't ask dumb questions
