Modern chemical medicine has an important role to play, especially in emergency situations, but in general I prefer safe and gentler herbal remedies proven effective over thousands of years of use throughout the world. We should resist all attempts by big business and big government to limit freedom of choice by growing our own herbs and learning to use our own judgement for a change.

I think homeopathy and other "alternative" medicines are bullshit. However, I also believe that if somebody wants to use such things, they should be free to do so. And in a free market, I could chose a health insurance policy that doesn't include these things but favors real medicine.

& yet aspirin is far worse for the body than natural willow bark.
