JAPAN INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

Here is a short footage on our recent work on quantum levitation. We were inspired by the game Wipe'out to do our work. With this new technology, we hope to revolutionize the world of motor transport; Maybe in a near future we could assist to a real Wipe'out race.

    not saying that this isn't possible, but this has a few serious indicators of CGI that anybody who does it can spot fairly easily

    I have no doubt quantum locking is a real thing, but this particular video displays very obvious signs of CGI

    besides it's just a marketing video for a game, it should be obvious to you

    No, this is CGI sadly, check the making the video video. This is entirely possible however it would just take some effort to build a track and some functioning superconductor toy cars.
