I love Cooper Temple and their Pastor and I am a true COGIC, but this does not seem as true praise - this looks like mockery and foolishness. This does not look like a trained church in the Holy Spirit. For me this is offensive and it is sad to see. I think that the founders of our great COGIC would be very disappointed in some of the directions that their posterity has taken the church - this is a reflection of the world, not the sanctified Church of God in Christ!!!

It's not that the musicians aren't talented - they are. And I'm not even saying you can't be edgy and progressive with music in the church. God designed it to have the kind of power that it does, and it's for his glory that it was designed to move people. But you have to be mindful of where people are at, especially in club central Miami. Some young people aren't ready for club beats in the church, even if is purportedly for a praise break. The leadership needs to teach them and watch them.

A lot of church musicians are not going to feel me on this, but listen to the lick at the end. That's straight out of a club song. Now when a young person hears that lick and the last 10 times she heard it she was in the club shaking her assets, what do you think her conditional response is going to be in the middle of her praise dance? Especially no one has sat her down to explain shouting vs. club music and taught her to think about what her body is doing when she goes forth?

This is a shame and a disgrace before God. If you want to party in the flesh just go to the club, but dont dishonor Gods house by bringing the club to the church

Church of God in christ belongs to God.

That's why they do it like this because it wasn't never dedicated or ordanied by God.

why are ya'll criticizing.......it is up to God The Father to seek the purest at heart. If they are dancing for show God sees it and he hears the cries of a true worshiper so if they are doing it for show let God handle it. I don't see any problem having fun with the Lord. At least these people are at church dancing instead of in the club on New Years Eve. I know where some people would rather be. I am new to Miami and I am looking to pay a visit to Cooper Temple.

its sad to see how people put the church in the box like we have souls to win for the LORD and we are still bashing on each other. Do be to quick to judge when you yourself is going to be judge at the end. we suppose to be a family and we can't have fun with the LORD. GOD looks at the church as his bride so imagine having a relationship with your husband or wife and not having fun.... just something to think about

I totally agree - but I think that it goes even deeper than that...really, the people of God need to get back to seeing the house of God as holy and having supreme reverence for his sanctuary (despite what the world thinks). We are being dictated by the world, and the world should instead be dictated by the church!
