Watch my grandmother use this new touch screen Sony e-reader. Buy it at: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003Z97GKK?tag=archosfcom-20&camp=0&creativ...

It's a product that is suitable for people like her, who like to read lots, who may enjoy having access to all the worlds books electronically on this thin and light device. In this review, after having barely used the device before, she tries to navigate through the menus, open some PDF files, make fonts larger and even does a drawing. Sony's new infrared based touch screen technology is quite awesome, provides touch on e-ink without taking away any of the Pearl e-ink's screens visibility. Also see my 11-minute video interview with a Sony specialist unveiling it and discussing technical details about it at IFA: http://armdevices.net/2010/09/05/sony-reader-prs-650-touch-edition/

  • What this is my grandmother not yours!!! lol

  • Ask her to review a kindle vs a sony e reader prs 650!

  • @superfebs ahahaha

  • Great review, I'll definitely buy one.

BTW, your granny is HOT and you look excited as if you just had some cocaine. :)

  • Should I buy the "premium cover" for the 650? Will I be using it? Because it's kinda expensive at $40

  • absolutely awesome concept of a review.....Its like for a moment i thought i was in copenhagen...interacting with ur granny.she is cute btw..thanks for the review again

  • Your grandmother is awesome! :)

  • for such a big font, the device is clearly too small for granny, i would go for at least 7". I would also prefer to use it horizontal with 2 pages at once :D but dunno

  • - Do you think that´s interesting?

    - NO

    LOL!

Yet another reason you shouldn´t show most Archos devices to your gramma... ;-)

Nice to see her, though, nice gramma.

  • This really proved to me that the device is easy to use. I like the new less glaring new screen, I would like to get one of these.

Cheers for your grandmother, she's so cute :) .

  • nice, where did you order it from and how much did you pay for it? :P

  • Brilliant!

  • haha this is an original idea: to have someone who may actually be a real user test a device.

I was considering to buy one of these e-readers as a gift but they're pretty expensive for what they do compared with some tablets, of course they're easier to use for ebooks for people all ages (supposedly).

  • The best is she said she will try it out. She is moving into a home? How could u?? Boooo.. let granny stay with u.. in an empty house.. with no one to talk to... hhmm better let her move into a home :)

  • Granny review, cool and different idea. I have many books I would like to read on the bus but they're too bulky to bring with me. It would be good to download them on an ebook reader.

  • um where is grandmom's goodbye kiss and hug hmmm.lol
