Lyricist: Li, Zaiyong (李在勇)
Composer: Vu Ke (浮克), Xiao Wei (晓卫)
Artist: Ayouduo (阿幼朵)
Lyrics:
Limpid sweet rice wine; sisters' rice,
foster the Miao people's love...for thousands years.
Flower Bridge in winds & rains; bright moon above Drum Pavilion,
witness the Dong people's swears...which never change.

Flying Songs above the Thor Mountain, fly down from the sky.
Ancient romantic legends come down till now.
Large Songs on the Moon Mountain, fly above the clouds.
Happiness flowers bloom in hearts where these songs fall down.

Flying to Miao countries, flying to Dong villages,
with your dream, with your friends.
Drunk in Miao countries, drunk in Dong villages,
bring your hearts, return to the Nature.

Flying to Miao countries, flying to Dong villages,
with your dream, with your friends.
Drunk in Miao countries, drunk in Dong villages,
bring your hearts, return to the highlights.

Note: Miao and Dong mentioned in the lyrics are two ethnic minority groups in China. Miao and Dong people mix in Guizhou Provice of China. Miao is a populous group compared with other Chinese minorities.
The Thor Mountain (Lei Gong Shan in Chinese) mentioned in the lyrics is a Holy mountain of the Miao (Hmong) people, also deemed as the root or the origin of the Miao (Hmong) people. The Moon Mountain (Yue Liang Shan in Chinese) mentioned in lyrics is very close to Dong villages.

there is no tie. Hmong does not mean free people. Hmong means "sons of soil."

  • Ok so a lot of Hmong brothers going to slash at me for making this claim, but here we go. There are also another group of people call "free people" as I mentioned on my first post. The biblical mentioned a group call Hivites aka Horites, according to Sitchin Horites mean "Free People". So how is Horites tie to Hmong, in this case we have to trace Naxi genome where they came from. Which bloodline did our earliest anscestor Naxi bloodline related to. Clue Blond hmong kids.

  • Hmong is the term Mong people would like to be call, Miao is giving to us by chinese, mean Young rice seeds. According to André-Georges Haudricourt research, hmong were the first to have agritculture farming rice our earliest ancestors are the Daxi or Naxi. They're famouse for their farming such as rice Hmong derived from Naxi. We're the young seeds of Naxi. Hmong is a term mean free people only.

  • Miao is Hmong, but I just hate the word Miao because it sounds like a crying cat to look for sex at night.

  • @AumPaim

I love the song, enjoy the show and proud to be Miao, if any Hmong dislike our names leave us alone don't be rude.

  • Hmong People need to teach the whold world to call us Hmong. Not Miao. I am sure you won't like this name either " Mother Fucker" or if I just named Hmong as "FuckYou"

  • @changkongher I am from your mother's ass!
