W dniu 03.08.2007 Dębicę odwiedziła grupa Żydów z Izraela - potomków przedwojennych członków lokalnej wspólnoty żydowskiej. Goście spotkali się z przedstawicielem Urzędu Miasta i Fundacji Ochrony Dziedzictwa Żydowskiego, zwiedzili synagogę i cmentarz, przespacerowali się ulicami miasta szukając śladów po swoich ojcach i dziadkach. Na cmentarzu wyszukiwali rodzinne nazwiska na macewach, w czym wspierali ich uczniowie Zespołu Szkol nr 2, opiekujący się cmentarzem w ramach programu Przywróćmy Pamięć". A visit of the Debica Jews descendants
On the 3rd of August 2007 a group of Jews from Israel - descendants of the Debica community members - visited Debica. They had a meeting with representatives of the town hall and the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland, they visited the synagogue and the cemetery, they had a sentimental walk through the Debica streets and looked for the remnants of their fathers and grandfathers lives. The group searched the matzevot for their families, all with the assistance of the students from the School No. 2 in Debica, who take care of the cemetery in the framework of the "To Bring Memory Back" educational program.
