HOUR MAGAZINE - 10-3-88. Hosted by Gary Collins. Valerie Harper is a guest star during "Parent's Week" and she relays her experiences that resulted from her firing from the NBC show "Valerie" and her subsequent victory against her former TV bosses in court. Ironically, Sandy Duncan was on the same show later that same week.

In this final clip (Part 6), Gary & Valerie look at fashions for kids. After this there is a preview of who is coming on the show later on in the week, and one of the ladies is Sandy Duncan.

In the tag of the show, Gary discusses with Valerie her new NBC movie "The People Across the Lake", her fear of being blackballed by the industry, and of her upcoming deal to develop a new series, which would ultimately be the short-lived "City" which co-starred Lu Ann Ponce, the real life sister of Danny Ponce, who played Willie Hogan on "Valerie".
