You gotta get off JB once in a while or it will eat you alive. Like a great drug that goes badshit on you all of a sudden. He was intoxicating and addictive. True music with unbridled passion and blood and tears and pain and hope died in the Wolf River on May 29th, 1997. What a bad fucking day that was. He was and will always be, peerless.

Your comment made me think.Although I cannot fully identify myself with your metaphor,I understand it thoroughly. He came to me truly all of a sudden,as you commented, some years ago, haunted me and now I am absolutely incompetent to find other substitutes to fill the void.

@Thesamevan I have all of his music, some bought and some given.i know lots of details about his life and i consider myself one of his very passionate followers.and i believe that those people who have heard his music and yet didn't like it as people of very bad taste in everything.

I think it's really funny that there are guys talking near the bootlegger, because if I were in the audience and ANYBODY, let alone Jeff Buckley was playing Last Goodbye in front of ME, I wouldn't be talking. THEY DIDN'T KNOW

@november191968 That's unfortunate. :( I know what you mean, but I believe with all my heart that he would want you to accept his departure, and still enjoy the music, if you really do. And only crazy people don't. Crazy in a bad way.

@livingoutloud40, i remember you could buy songs to no-one at cd stores but they stopped selling it for some gay reason. Ebay will have it for sure

I found them on the net, but they are from a live in Berkeley, I think, "Acoustic show at Sproul plaza", performed on Mai the 5th 1995
