Tom's views are more progressive than this guy, that's the problem. You can't say that marriage works because it's an institution when the values that established the foundation for this institution have been eroded away by feminism, greed, selfishness etc etc.
Marriage will only be a viable option for men again once the laws have been changed to protect a man financially in the event of a divorce.
Otherwise, it's just not worth the risk.
