Now, over the last couple of weeks we have brought you the harrowing tales of the drought situation in Turkana region, from the long journeys in search of food to the story of a boy suckling the teats of a goat for milk, just to stay alive. We now flip the coin to bring you a story of surplus, in a land of scarcity. From a region touted as one of the main food baskets in the country, Citizen TV's Willis Raburu found out that in Transmara, the basket is indeed full, but not without its own hitches. You know what, all along i thought that natural calamity was to blame for the ongoing drought. Apparently, the government had a greater role to play. Down with the government!!!
