Another in my 'Hints and Tips' tutorial series, this time dealing with the fore sights that I custom make if required to.
Its a simple yet effective and fairly robust way to solve the nagging problem of getting a correct looking sight on your 1911 as the aftermarket selection is very small with only Dytac, Creation and Freedom Art doing any at all.
It also allows you to install a new sight to the standard TM 1911a1 plastic slide to bring it up to modern spec and can be combined with fitting a 4.3 or Novak MEU style rear sight aswell.
Tools required:
Fine bladed hacksaw or model saw,
Sandpapers 320-120 grades,
Needle files various (half round will suffice),
1mm thick stiff wire,
Super glue,
Super glue actuater spray,
Model drill or hand drill,
Fine drill bits various (to match wire and for sight dots),

First this time yay! Nice video, it looks like I need to go get some needle files and a micro drill!
