Ah nostalgie

  • Perfecta.....Caballe es la mejor!!!

  • ¡Qué maravillosa voz!

  • Tengo este DVD de PARIS ( Sala Pleyer ) y en este recital puedo asegurar que QUE, TODAS LAS ÁRIAS INTERPRETADAS POR ELLA NO LAS HA SUPERADO NADIE, Y PIENSO SEA MUY DIFICIL QUE SE SUPEREN, VISTO CÓMO ESTÁ EL MERCADO OPERÍSTICO. NO SE PUEDE CANTAR CON MÁs BELLEZA DE VOZ. . PARA ARRODILLARSE ANTE ELLA.!!!!!!

  • CABALLE, SUPERB, UNIQUE,SUBLIME

A GREAT SINGER IN HER PRIME

    BRAVO MONTSE!!!!!!

  • I can't believe she's real.

  • Pela qualidade da imagem bem se vê que é de 66 mesmo!

  • I want it to be quite clear who is Miss Caballe after watching this video. So many people dropped so many lies about her: no voice, no voice, no high notes, not low notes, is silent, not forte, no plays, no drama, no charisma, blah, blah, blah

  • I searched for this after hearing the raves for the Anna Bolena last week of Anna Netrebko. Caballe has purity of style, perfect technique, limpid tone and dramatic flair, and totally natural artistry. This is not to criticize Netrebko or Callas, but merely to call a fact -- a fact.

As for the lost souls who think that trilling is singing, please go buy yourselves some trilling software. Caballe is irreplaceable and IMHO the greatest soprano of the second half of the 20th century.

  • I really appreciate Caballe during this time. What a rich, deep soprano.

  • In her early prime, Paris 1966. What a sublime voice, like a glowing pearl rolling on velvet, the legato, breath control, elegant phrasing, accurate coloratura, pianisismi and diminuendi going into spinto power, all is there. And I ask you, WHO sings like this today? The self-indulgent Fleming, the overrated Mazaidze, the declining old Mattila, the ageing Gheorghiu, the hysterically yodelling Bartoli, the mosquito-voiced Dessay, or the second-rate fattened Netrebko? Please be serious.

  • Paris, Salle Pleyel, June 1966. She is pregnant with her first child.
