  • For all the people that are trippin' because Scott Gorham isn't playing the lead parts here. 'Black Rose' was/is Gary Moore's showcase and if you know anything about guitar playing you know that 'Black Rose' is slightly out of Scott's league in terms of chops. He doesn't have the speed/picking technique to play this properly. Gary does, and so does Sykes, which is why it's in the live set today.

  • as much as it kills me to say this but gary moore is the only one who can play the "fast". sequence

    I disagree though, that Sykes can do it - i went to see that shower of c**ts twice and it sounds distorted at best when sykes played it
