Things Change Chap. 4

Recap: Sarah excepted an invite to Claytons party and something's wrong with Sarah's mom.

Sarah's POV:
I hoped into the passenger seat, "St. Francies and HURRY!" Joe looked at me worriedly, "My mom is in trouble just GOO!" He pulled out and drove to St. Francies with Nick in the back seat. I sat there hyperventalating the whole way and Nick was helping me by rubbing my shoulders.

When we got to the hospital I sprinted inside and up to the front desk, "Hi, I'm looking for Sherri Stevenson, I'm her daughter!" The nurse typed in something on the computer, "The doctors are in with her right now, take a seat." She pointed to the waiting area. I sat down tapping my foot waiting for something to happen. I was wanting it to be good but I wasn't sure. I couldn't help but put my head in my hands and cry. If anyone could help through all this it was her and now I might not get that chance.

A doctor came out and I was the only one in there now with Joe and Nick and I was still crying. It was getting late and I was about to drift to sleep, "Are you the family of Sherri Stevenson?" I looked up, "That's us!" I got up and ran over to the doctor. "Is she ok?" He looked down at his charts and had the saddess face on, "I'm sorry, but we lost her. The car accident was too much for her body to handle. You can go see her now." I looked at Nick and Joe who were walking up behind me. Tears started to run down, now I would NEVER get advice for how to deal with this. I shook my head and walked back to her room.

210, 211, 213, 214, ah here we are, 215. I hesitated then turned the doorknob. I walked in to see my moms lifeless body lying there with blodd everywhere. I walked up beside her. She had, had a rough year, first Danny left with B and Brian and now this! I sat down in the chair and grabbed her hand, it was sooo cold. "Why Momma? Why'd you have to go? Why'd you have to go now?" I let my head hang and I started crying, "Why?" Wow, I seemed to be asking that question alot. Still I never get an answer.

I finally realized that I wouldnt get an answer from my mom and stood up. I bent down and kissed her forehead. I walked out and closed the door and walked back to the waiting room. Nick and Joe were still sitting there. When Nick looked up he saw me and ran over to me. He grabbed in a bear hug which made me smile. He always knew how to make me feel better.

"I'm sorry." He said. "I know you two were close." I started crying on his shoulder, "Yeah," I chocked, "We were. Thanks." I let go and smiled. I ran my hand through his hair and down the side of his cheek, just doing that made me feel better. He grabbed my hand and walked me over to Joe. Joe stood up and hugged me, "I'm sorry to." "Thanks. Come on lets go." We walked out to the car and Joe drove home.

When we got home I walked up to my room and sat down on my bed. I picked up my phone and called Samand Bekka and told them everything. I laid down and fell asleep getting ready for a shopping spree with Sam and Bekka tomorrow.

I woke up the next day and I tried to smile but frowned instead. I got up and got dressed. I walked downstaires to where Nick had made breakfast and Joe stuffing his face, "Good morning!" I said cheerfully. I was sad that my mom was gone but I know she would want me to be happy! "Good morning!" Joe said with his mouth full. I let out a big laugh. It felt good to laugh, it's been awhile since I've laughed. "Good morning!" Nick said as he came over placed a plate down for me. I smiled.

I finished eating and went up staires and got ready for my shopping spree with Sam and Bekka. I just finished putting my make-up on when the doorbell rang, "I GOT IT!" I yelled from up the staires. I slipped on my converse and ran down staires. "Hey guys!" I said opening the door. "Hey Sarah! You ready to go?" I smiled, "Deffinately!" They gave me hugs and told me they were sorry about my mom. I smiled and said thanks and its ok. "It's the way life goes you guys. Your born, you live, you die. It's the circle of life. My mom taught me that when my dad died....." I trailed off. Thinking about not having any paretns just hit me.

"Well, come on. What's done, is done. Lets go!" I yelled running to the car. I hoped in the driver seat and started the car, "Same old Sarah." Sam said the Bekka. "Yup! Still always excited to go shopping no matter what!" Bekka said back. They laughed and walked over to the car and got in. But before we drove off three people hopped in the back with us. Now Sam was squished against the window. "We want to go to!!" I laughed "FINE! BUt share seatbelts!" They all put on seatbelts, "Ok LETS GO!" They yelled. "SHOPPING!!" They acted like girls, not really working. "Never do that again and I will drive!" The cleared thier throats, "Sorry." I laughed and took off for the mall. This is going to be interesting!

cool you started school yesterday? where do you live?

and my school doesn't start till september 1 but it'll stop school that wednesday cause it's my friends b-day and she's taking me to a jonas brothers concert.

and SWEET! I went to a JB concert July 23 in IN and it was saweet!! I loved it and i got to touch them and I screamed because my seat was touching the stage I freaked out!!! lol!

hahaha.. cool we won't be able do that though but i;m just happy i get to see them. it would be my first time after tring to see them for about a year

yeah i was happy to see them to but then I saw my seats and I freaked out. I turned to my brother and I was like I love you sooooo much! it was hilarious! and yeah i have been tring to see them for a year to then I finally got to see them I was happy. See they came to my town, like literally the arena is like JUST down the street from me and my bro didnt get tickets so I found the one in IN so he took me. IT was REALLY sweet of him!

you have got that right....I can't even believe it I mean Joe was Nick's age when JB put out their first CD and now next year Kevin is gonna be 22,Joe is gonna be 20,and Nick is gonna be 17!!It's just really weird!

Is it just me or is sad that Joe's turning 20 next year? I find that quite depressing! There growing up to fat!!!! =(
