Brown tree snake (Boiga irregularis).
Several state and federal government agencies have been working together for the past several years to ensure that this snake does not reach Hawaii.

yeah, no one cares about how the snake destroyed the ecosystem of guam, no one wants to help eradicate it. all because guam is an insignificant colony of the US
but when there is a rising threat that it might spread to Hawaii, everyone raises awareness and support to stop it from going to hawaii

This is not part of hawaii, it's not supposed to be there. They are not saying to kill EVERY SINGLE ONE...just the ones in hawaii. It really could causs a lot of harm to the comunity there.
