How to Jailbreak Verizon iPhone 4.2.8 UNTETHERED Redsn0w

1) Restore to STOCK 4.2.8 on Verizon iPhone 4
2) Download/Find stock iOS 4.2.6 IPSW for Verizon iPhone 4
3) Once your iPhone has been successfully restored to stock iOS 4.2.8 firmware, launch Redsn0w. Click Browse and choose stock iOS 4.2.6 IPSW. Let Redsn0w process the IPSW. Once done, click on the Next button to continue.
4) ONLY choose Cydia from the jailbreak options.
5) Plug your iPhone to your PC or Mac and turn it OFF completely by pressing the Power button.
6) Click next, as soon as you do so, hold the power button on your iphone and follow the instructions to put it in DFU mode
7) Once your iPhone has been jailbroken on iOS 4.2.8, it will get stuck at Apple logo with a spinner icon on it or restart fine with a white Cydia and it crashes. This is because the current iOS 4.2.8 jailbreak with Redsn0w is tethered. You need to boot your iPhone into tethered jailbroken state.
8) Re-open Redsn0w, browse for stock 4.2.6 firmware, click next, UNCHECK Cydia, CHECK "Just Boot Tethered Right Now", Next, Follow the prompts as seen in the video
9) Your iPhone should have booted up in tethered mode (Pineapple)
10) Connect Via WIFI or Cellular Network
11) Open Cydia and Add this source...
12) http://djayb6.com
13) Search for CDMA, it should be the only one there.
14) Install it
15) Once installed, reboot
16) It should then reboot in Untethered mode
17) Enjoy your Untethered Jailbrok on Verizon iPhone running IOS 4.2.8
