these are for the low japanese laborers in the future. japan knew this would happen, so the government told companys to build robots. there has always been a fascination with robots in japanese history, its apparent in their cartoons and movies, so alot of japanese embrace these innovations and accept them

The acceleration due to technology is felt asymmetrically in society. There won't simply be an increasing wealth gap; with eugenic enhancements the children of elites will be vastly superior to lowly human animals in every way, an exponentially increasing gap with each successive generation. The next step will be culling the herd. Not having a job will be the least of your concerns. If you're not a super genius they may have a position for you in the zoo -- on display as "Homo Sapiens 1.0".

Do the Japanese know what their doing. Most people in the world still have manual labor jobs. Many Companies have become Giant faceless corporation where CEO`s come and go and the number 1 goal is to make the stock holders rich. They don`t care about firing millions. Fast Foods Chains, Supermarkets, Factory workers. The world will be in chaos. Unemployments of 30% even in developed Nations. A future where people will have to compete with ever more advanced Robots to make a living. Very Sad.
