Joe Jonas and Taylor Swift, the 27 sec break up (HD)

Still in the news and all over the blogs are the deets on the breakup between Taylor Swift and Joe Jonas. We know some fans are hoping for a special rekindling, while others are wishing everyone would just move on. But here at Clevver, we're rapping up the highly publicized breakup, including media reports and even delving into the two's personal internet pages.

Rewind back to Swift's guest appearance on the Ellen Degeneres show for her 'Fearless' album promotion. During the interview, the singer stated that the 19-year-old Jonas broke up with her during a 27-second phone call. After a bit of a lapse in which fans - and media - criticized Joe for his bad-boy ways, even alluding to the fact that he cheated on Taylor, he decided to fight back. The J-Bro's forum of choice? Where else, but his personal MySpace page.

He didn't actually mentioned Swift's name in the online post, but he did fully state that he has never cheated on a girlfriend, and he also implied that certain "issues" with his ex led to a change of heart and thus, a relationship end. Joe Joe reportedly went on to say that he is saddened that anything would potentially cause his fans to think less of him.

Of course, Jonas didn't leave out a response to Taylor's claim that HE ended the much-talked-about phone convo. He actually said that TAYLOR was the one who wanted to stop the relationship discussion at that time.

And in a recent Tay-Tay MySpace posting, the singer chose to focus on her recent win as the Favorite Country Female at the 08 American Music Awards. She also thanked her fans for their constant support and stated that she's the luckiest girl in the world!

The two reportedly had zero-drama at the AMAs, so it looks like the MySpace postings cleared the air and got the singers back on their own separate tracks.

For once I think Taylor is to blame... FOR EVEN GOING OUT WITH THAT JERK!!! I don't think Joe cheated on Taylor, but I do think the reason he broke up with her was that other girl. And Taylor knew that. And then, Joe had to write 'Much Better' the JERK! HE was the one who dumped her!!! He has NO RIGHT to write a song like that about her. Jerk.

I think joe only broke up with her trhough phone because they were touring and miles away you know? they were apart and he was starting not to feel anything for her so he broke up. He called her and joe posted on the jonas myspace(in a deleted post) that she hunged up the call. no hard fellings, theyre both my faves stars in the world- tay is my role model and joe is my husband(but he doesn't know yet xD)

@SweetViSt You should understand that this is none of their fault. Joe wanted to breakup and he did but the way was wrong.Taylor felt bad and she didn't want to cry on the phone and hung up. plus we don't even know what exactly was said on the phone. put yourself in the other persons shoes and think about it. (no offense intended)

@SweetViSt you realize joe did break her up within 27 seconds no matter who hung up so he is still wrong. Taylor was upset and hung up. Who would want to stay on the phone with someone who just broke your heart and was rude enough to brake up with you within 27 secs.
