When the employees showed up to work at METI, Inc in El Paso, Texas, they were pleasantly surprise to find the company's Old Glory well taken care of after a heavy storm on Sunday.

Instead of finding it blown away or a skewed on the ground, they found it neatly folded "military style" as well the flag pole placed off to one side. After checking their surveillance video they discovered how this happen.

They watched as a homeless man, Gustus Bozarth walking by pick up the flag in the wind and rain and folded it neatly. When ask why Gustus replied "For American freedoms, freedom for America, freedom for a lot of Americans....."

  • Thanks..sandrawally for your reply...It makes you kind of wonder..how diffrent countries in the world hate each other and at times..have fought against each other in either war or some sort of conflict..BUT..when these people from the same countries live in the U.S.. they can be neighbors a live peacefully with each other? What other country can you go and these things occur? Well, there is Australia and England..other European countries...but the U.S. is where everyone goes...God Bless America.

  • THIS IS AMERICA>>>LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT!!!!!!

  • @dragonballsg blabbed: "You act as if the US came and raped you in an alley."

My what an imagination you have...raping me! Can you say "closet case"? The US military has a major problem with men raping our women soldiers, as well as raping conquered people...and what does that tell you about our "godly" nation, hmmm? And any nation that allows any of its citizens to go homeless, is no better than China.,.,maybe even worse. If I ever fold an Amerikan flag, it will be to discard my excrement.

  • @dragonballsg vomited: "If you don't like it, go to China"

No need to travel, when the US has become just as backward and despotic as China. Considering you seem to think that anyone receiving gov't benefits in order to survive, has no right to voice their opinions as a citizen of this nation, I'd say you missed your calling as a dictator. You haven't done anything w/your life, you're a baboon who shrieks right-wing idiocy, Big farkin deal, you're a waste of life and a traitor to democracy.

  • @pewterbot9 You act as if the US came and raped you in an alley. If you don't like it, go to China or some other "free" nation. But so long as you are here using resources and federal and state budgets, you have absolutely no reason to say you are deprived. So whereas I have actually done something with my life, you choose to conform to the simple minded anarchistic beliefs you think make you original, choosing to blame society for your mistakes rather than take responsibility for your actions.

  • @dragonballsg: "it is my preference to not wallow in self-pity over what my country is not giving me"

It is most certainly not self-pity, when a citizen dissents against egregious wrongs in his society. The USA has turned into a militant corporatocracy. When your common citizen no longer has access to these tools to achieve success, I'd say it's time for revolt. You, OTOH, choose to bury you tiny head in the sand, and act smug in so doing. Typical no-nothing American zombie sheeple. :D

  • @pewterbot9I agree with you that patriotism is, in many cases, a blind following of your country, whether it be into prosperity or into turmoil. However, it is my preference to not wallow in self-pity over what my country is not giving me, but to appreciate what it has given me, which is the tools needed to achieve success. If some people choose not to use them, so be it. I choose to take advantage of what I have now so I can get what I want later. So I honor my country for giving me that chance

  • @SGhockeychika4: To claim that the majority of the poor are lazy is untrue /and/ bigoted....it 's a denial that this nation was primarily built on the backs of the poor. The majority of the poor do work...they are slaves of the wealthy...but they sure /do/ work harder than the middle class...and get paid less, though deserve more. The working poor go w/o middle class amenities such as a decent house, travel, good health care, etc. Talk about monstrous inequity! F u c k the middle class.

  • @SGhockeychika4 brayed: "Socialism is only good when you have everyone putting into it".

Then the answer is of course, to quit making exceptions for the rich to not pay their fair share. Until Amerika does this, the rich will remain outside of our democratic ways, running our country like it's their own fiefdom. Your rationale simply buys the old Horatio Alger myth that anyone who's rich has earned it. Hogwash. That is nothing more than corporate welfare.

  • @isoccer23n7 Obviously you are not a true man. No heart or soul.(and no education. Ex. "Amerika")
