@yourenot Not all CZ is garbage. Cut, polish, coating, etc all make a huge difference.
@concujak I totally agree. I don`t think this is moissanite. Looks more like medium quality CZ to me.

I'm a actor.. I think that's enough said. I've kinda fallen into a pit and haven't had work for a while.. Now i just work retail. Which makes just enough to survive. So no- I don't have enough to buy moissanite- let alone keep my diamond enagement ring. I may have to sell that soon. :S

hahah! I don't think i would.. since my husband probably wouldn't appreciate that too much. But i would work a month straight to save up the money for one. :)

@GIA13615093 Moissanite is a diamond like thing found on an asteroid that fell to earth years and years ago.. scientist found a way to replicate it so they sell that since there was so little of it on the asteroid it could only make one ring.
CZ is Cubic Zirconia. Its the kinda stuff you buy a Claires .. it goes for about $3 a carat but lots of diamond simulant places sell it for a TON more.. you have to watch out for it.

Moissanite has a lot of "fire" aka rainbow... this one doesnt seem to have much of it

My vote is for CZ ... it's very white and doesn't have the rainbowy flashes of Moissanite
