Blood: The Last Vampire - Clip 2

Blood: The Last Vampire brings to life an English language live-action feature movie of the original Japanese anime feature film from a producer of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Hero. Gianna (My Sassy Girl, Daisy) stars in the film as Saya, a 400-year-old demon-hunting vampire slayer working undercover in Japan for a secret organization, on a mission in the Vietnam War era. The cast also includes Koyuki (The Last Samurai, Always: Sunset on Third Street), Michael Byrne (Beyond the Sea, Gangs of New York), Colin Salmon (Resident Evil, Punisher: War Zone, Clubbed), and Allison Miller (Kings). The film features stunt choreographed by Cory Yuen (Transporter 3, Red Cliff), is produced by Bill Kong and Abel Nahmias, with screenplay by Chris Chow. Coming to theaters July 10th, 2009!

Wait thats the bad CGI people are talking about? Ok its not the best thats for sure. But you know for the budget the movie had I have to say its pretty descent. From what people were talking about i was pictureing something much worse. I think to many people (I maybe wrong) are just comparing it to somthing like transformers 2 which had a much bigger budget.

Ugh, worst CGI ever. No need for all the CGI blood in fights either, do it braindead style or like kill bill, with the real stuff. That truck dropping down the ravine was pure jumping the shark as well, that girl would be DEAD.

The animated series was easily better than both the short animated film, and this live action version - combined.

Wow. After DB and this piece of wretched stank, I think anime is joining the ranks of videogames in things that should not be translated to live action.

I really liked the "Blood" Manga, and Manga never really transfers well into Live action. Fist of the North Star was a terrible live action version of a manga classic. But this looks like it will be a more faithful attempt.

also does anyone no if blood+ is a follow on from the origional blood coz they have simalaritys but there are heaps of fetures missing between the 2

do u no if you are able to obtain a copy in Australia or download an English subbed version isnt haji only in blood+ not blood the last vampire i havnt watched any eps of blood the last vampire but going by the previews it doesnt look like there is a diva or and shivalya
