  • @DieOrSubscribe Actually, I'm a fourth year bass drummer who got his basses to do sixtuplet splits at 180 bpm. Rudeness aside, tenor lines can be very amazing and complicated, and people will think they are better beacause each person has 5 drums. What people like you don't realize is that getting 3 or more people to act as one single mind is a feat worthy of rarely given recognition. That teamwork alone is what makes me feel proud to be a bass drummer.

  • @sniper234 i play tenors, and i didnt see this guys comment, but i would agree with you that bass is one of the most difficult drums to play.. the splits are crazy and you have to be extremely good and confident with your playing to be in a line this good... i feel that all battery instruments are equal though because they all have their tough points especially in this level. if this guy said that bass drums suck, then hes obviously not a true drummer, because we realize all drums are great!

  • Bass line is where it's at <3

  • Sorry for 3 comments, 2nd comment, changed the bro- pro. Lol :D

  • 5th base, rep memphis tennessee bro. That's where I'm from :D 1st year 3rd bass in high school. Love it. Might be going to 2nd bass next :D which is middle for us. I think I'm going to be bro bass all during high school. Like if you think i should :)

  • @sniper234 I love you. You spoke the thoughts I was never able to explain.

  • I agree..in fact in some corps there are challenges where the bass line and the tenors play the same material against each other. And often times its hard to tell who's playing it better...which is a win for the basses because having 5 guys play the same beat as one guy is a lot harder.

  • @sniper234 To true my friend. I played 4 years of tenors in high school, and now i'm in my 3rd year of bass in college, and bass is by far the more challenging and rewarding of the two

  • @sniper234 Amen there!

  • @sisenikelet crusaders! whoop! :D
