Lovebird baby hatching

I lucked out and happened to catch the first of 6 lovebirds hatching. Wish my video was a little bit longer!

I usually start with a base of Care Fresh bedding, it comes in a tan or in colors. It is really absorbant, and you can use it with any birds without adding anything else. The Lovebirds add what they want to the nest, so I give them plain white paper to rip up too. Hope this helps you out!

hi I have to love bird and they have 4 eggs 2 of them hatched. mother does not give food to them, so I done even from the first day. 3 days after the first is dead but a living and have no problem. I do not know if the liver or not next week. I do not know what should I do. can som one help me what should I do?

The problem with them being so young is the frequency that they have to be fed. You may have to feed every hour to keep it alive, until it gets bigger. If you have the desire to keep it alive, you can do it! Make sure to keep it about 89 degrees - a five gallon aquarium works for later on, a plastic dish lined with soft cloth in the aquarium would work for now. Heat and food is the main thing. Read all you can on the internet on hand feeding too. Hope this helps.

21 to 23 days - they lay every other day and hatch every other day. It is pretty neat! I've had 5 babies and the oldest is 10 days old when the last one hatched.

I have 2 sun conures and never knew the sex of them until one laid 3 eggs...what should I do?!? Just leave them be! Or is there something I have to do?!?

@humza6951 The eggs won't always be fertile. Just like with humans, it can take a lot of tries and a long time before the eggs will have chicks in them.
