  • maybe I'm crazy, but i think Yada Horner sensei would look at me odd if you said shindeinai desu. kinda redundant in a way. shouldn't it be shindeimasen? not all things found on the internet are entirely accurate unfortunately, but i wish everyone luck.

  • My Japanese is fine. I had this video checked by a native. But most Japanese teachers only teach polite levels which are not very useful if that's ALL you know. Get it?

  • 1:12 - Solomon Gregさんはまだ死なないよ! Simple!

  • haha Greg Solomon is so gay :L

  • Yeah, sorry! I teach mostly on Gimmeaflakeman and my site maggiesensei dot c o m these days. Don't often look at these older vids.

  • @ndividuall It's good to ask a lot of questions. Victor is covering the very friendly way of saying things. Keep up the studies. 質問をして下さい!(Shitsumon wo shite kudasai!)

  • sorry, I really must stop nitpicking, lol.

  • Oh, another question. If it is a way of speaking I'm not familiar with, then is that why you left out to (w)o and mo in shashin totte ii desu ka?

  • Oh and forgive my ignorance, but last time I checked, things that end in desu were polite form hence the confusion. It looked to me, perhaps inaccurately, some plain form/polite form hybrid.

  • That's good to know. And yes, I have learned stuff beyond polite levels. I asked someone who grew up in Japan and he said it was awkward, but since he hasn't been there in a while, I'll take your word for it. Shindeinai desu didn't make sense to me, but that doesn't mean its wrong. I thought perhaps you were doing the n desu grammar, but wasn't sure. Anyway, I wasn't meaning to take a jab at you personally. I've just found certain sites on the internet aren't entirely accurate.
