A 1957 Commercial for Kodak Slide Film ("Reversal film") photography, showing one of the more expensive cameras sold to mainstream consumer. The commercial features Ozzie Nelson from "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet".
OMG! I found the same camera featured in this commercial, but it was beat to hell :-p Now it's stripped down and the parts are just lying around... (sigh) what a shame.
Eastman Kodak sponsored "THE ADVENTURES OF OZZIE & HARRIET" from 1956 through '61- and, as I've said before, Ozzie and the family often appeared in "integrated commercials" for Kodak's cameras, projectors and film; this is a typical example. But Ozzie drew the line on Kodak insisting he wear one of their cameras around his neck whenever possible during the epiosde [he DID feature more outdoor and "on location" sequences during this period].
