Yes the Mexican empire existed briefly after the Mexican indepence war in 1821.

But no, the Mexican empire don't appear in the game, only the "Mexica Empire" (Aztecs) and Civilization IV: Colonization, despite its name, its not an expansion pack for Civilization IV, its a Standalone game.

hey, so is the mexican empire in this game by any chance?(do not tell me the aztec empire) i baught the whole expansion pack, but for some reason I only got Civ IV, warlords, beyond the sword, but for some reason i didnt get colonization...can someone answer both my doubts? thanks
