  • How do you make so that you don't have to render every time you import Motion projects to Final Cut Pro?

  • @Modview The easiest way would be to render out a Quicktime .MOV from Motion, and use it as a regular video asset in FCP. 

    If you'd rather keep the roundtrip capabilities between Motion and FCP, the initial render has to happen. Still, you may be able to cut down on any re-renders by nesting the Motion project into its own sequence in FCP, rendering that sequence once, then using the sequence elsewhere in FCP, just as you would regular footage.

  • the purple bar for the behavior track isn't showing up on my timeline, never had the happen before, do you know how i get it back?
