Kids nowadays want flashy films with bright cgi and big explosions. Most the films coming out of hollywood today are utter garbage.

i saw this in the cinema when it came out with my school acctually. everyone went " aw! it was so boring!" and so on. but i thought it was the most moving film i have ever watched!!! it was completely enchanting! i quess todays children can't understand the value of seeing stories told by someone with a different origin and culture, that's the only way to learn about life, about earth and about people. because other countries are just like history, the same things happen over again.

I'm an Indian, my mother is from Iran, and this movie gives a glims of the many lives iranians have lived. I have read bout the coup of 1953 and also the 1979 Revolution. It is very diffiult to say that someone is wrong or right. We are all part of a wave, that has been created by us.

It should have won an oscar for beat cartoon film at the 2007 oscars. It's story is a powerful one and it really speaks to you. Good stuff.
