I have always found the it difficult to get the EQ right on my tracks which is really frustrating because I'm very happy with the actual compositions that I'm making. Often the final mix ends up sounding crappy because of my mixing/mastering skills. Some very useful tips on here. I have always done everything by ear so a frequency analyser might be the way forward for me. Obviously still have a lot to learn. Thanks.

you would think that CM, at this point, would have found a multimedia guy that would use actually use HD camera and di-ing the output of the daw so that the viewers can actually see whats going on (the quality of this youtube version is the same as they release on the dvds) and actually hear whats going on- but nope. still, just a dude and his cellphone more or less. makes no sense to me.

32bars at 140bpm is not 1 minute and 1/4... come on guys, its 0.55 seconds as professionals surely you should know that? The closest round bar to 1 1/4mins is 48 and that is 1:22 ....
