You can't help it. It is Limnos, an island where people - and mainly women - use the bike for small errands between work, house, quick shopping, visiting a friend. Distances are usually not more than 2-3 kilometers. It is also summer, temperature at 30 degrees. This in conjunction with the fact that everyone knows the local policeman and it would be a major scandal for him stopping them and giving them a fine (local restaurants would cut his free "ouzo and meze"!!!) all have as a result this.
