Detailing Class at Reinharts Automotive (Meet Shawn the Master) lol

I mentioned that Shawn flew down from Pittsburg, Pa. to Jacksonville, Fl. for detailing school.

This has been a great enjoyment having Shawn as a student. We are having a great time at this and Shawn is certaintly on his way.

We are filming on location at my Pro. Shop in conjunction with Reinharts Automotive in Orange Park.

This is Shawns first video persay so he was kind of nervous about shooting and talking at the same time so I had to help him out with this.

These are all high dollar Marauders and Mustangs that we work on here. Infact, the one that Shawn is working on here is a 2003 with about 1100 horse power under the hood. These are all racing engines and are designed to flat out stomp ANYTHING out there and bury it.

Instead of police intercepters, these are called panther intercepters.

Dennis has these cars from everywhere shipped to his shop and Dennis is world renowned for his performance engineering and its an honor to be a part of his team.

Shawn is applying the clear coat sealer to protect the paint.

The reason we seal with clear coat sealers instead of wax like most do is the fact that our products are engineered to actually protect the clear coat for a long time. Our sealers have temperature ratings of over 1500 degrees and here in the Florida heat, this is whats required.

Did you know that wax has a temperature rating between 100-160 degrees before it disipates from the clear coat within a week or two leaving your investment TOTALLY unprotected now matter how many coats you apply.

This is why we do not use wax at all and infact, have not used wax in eight to ten years because in my opinion, wax provides absolutly no protection at all.
