As someone who grew up in the Mountains nearby Windrock and attended Oliver Springs High school, it's sad Oliver Springs sold it's soul and allowing the beauty of Windrock to be exploited by Coal and ATV industry. In visiting from Atlanta on occasion, my hometown seems to have lost it's soul accomodating expoiting outside influences that compromises OS's proud agenda of preserving natural historical preservation.
there's so many rocks here it keeps bending rims the my kfx400 will a non utility quad be able to get thru those trails? mine's just made to go fast, watch my video 2 see. Can't wait to move

Well, there are a lot of rocks but the trails are groomed and the majority of riders are ATV'er's. You're are really going to love these trails!. The trails are some of the best you'll ever ride. I am told they are the 3rd best place to ride in the nation. Stay in touch and visit my website windrocktrails dot com. It's not finished but it will be soon. Also, click the "Blog" link while you are at windrocktrails dot com for a lot of good info about the trails.

GREAT video very well put together....I am moving to maryville from ca as soon as my house sells. Any suggestions on other places to ride? california is really cracking down here on ATV riders and leaving us little riding areas. We can go to Jawbone Canyon, Gorman, Pismo (3hrs away). Again awesome video

can't wait till i get to go back again. who knows the fastest way to the windmills?? thanks

The fastest way to the windmills is P1 (pavement 1). Eventually it runs out of pavement but keep on keeping on and before you know it they'll be in front of you. Actually, P1 is Windrock Road and if it wasn't closed off at the windmills you could ride over to Lake City on it.
