As a American teaching pro in Finland, I can honestly say his form, footwork, and natural ability are as far advanced as many adult, preteens, and up and coming juniors. Disregard what people say in such negative ways as they are easily quick to jump to conclusions. In other words, it is called jealousy. Your son has from only what I have seen very good movement, hand eye, and most of all, FUN. If I am ever in Italy, I would love to come by as I have a ATP player who tours alot.

why is it that when people post videos of these very young tennis players they only show the final results? i can actually do the same thing by having my daughter train specific shots just for posting purposes only and look good too. im not impress at all. i think its only an ego booster for the parent or trainer of these kids.

Your thought is welcome! But Mattia's tennis today is very very impressive and it grows everyday. However that does not mean he will be a champ, obviously.

Very impressive! He looks like Tomy Haas especially his timing to hitting the ball is great. There is no doubt that he has a talent. My son plays the tennis (he is 6 years old) but he has not great footwork like your son.

Could you tell me what size of racket he was use when he was 6 years old.?. My son's racket is 23 inch but we are consider to change the little bit longer one.

Anyway it is great joy to see the children skill grows day by day!
