When this came out I wanted to get it, but couldn't find it in the shops anywhere.

I have always noticed that swastika in the SNES version as well.

A really great game. I remember spending hours on it. Preferd it more than Marble Madness.
Good job.

Why there is swastika at 2:18

Perhaps Paul Shirley is Buddhist or Jainist? ;)
But seriously, it may be that Shirley intentionally made the center larger (nine tiles instead of one) in order to not give impression about swastika.

I see that Paul Shirley thought things over and made this much easier than the C64 original. Good for him really!

Ooops, I rushed a bit. Seeing how this ends, the ugly face of insane difficulty shows up again.

Fortunately dividing the game into smaller levels and adding the save function makes the challenge much more tolerable.

As a minor correction, apparently the original release of Spindizzy was for Amstrad CPC. However, Shirley was the one who developed C64 version, as well.
Similarly in the case of Spindizzy Worlds Shirley originally developed the game for Atari ST. After this he made the version for Amiga with various improvements.
