just made a new gaming rig, will be uploading that soon

AMD launched the lawsuit against its rival Intel, the world's leading microprocessor manufacturer. AMD has claimed that Intel engaged in unfair competition by offering rebates to Japanese PC manufacturers who agreed to eliminate or limit purchases of microprocessors made by AMD or a smaller manufacturer, Transmeta.

so, I ve my old pc for like 2 years, it was time to update.

I bought that mobo because it has a ATI 3300 GPU in it and it supports Hybrid
Whats that? its like crossfire

I can crossfired my 4890 and 3300 ( 512 mb DDR3) so I have 1 .5 gbs now. Which adds like 15 more frames more to it.

I used Vegas pro 8.
Normally, these videos would take 25 minutes to render but with my new sytem it takes 5 minutes =D! I currently have a crappy monitor (1440 X 900) I can play crysis at 35 with HIGH settings so thats good I guess =/ I shoulve gone with a i5 system but I am AMD Fan all the way.

  • I love the feeling of building a new computer! I just built mine for around $1200. My specs: Intel Core i7-2600K OC to 4.7GHz Stable @ 45* C for medium workload. ASRock Pro3 SE LGA 1155 Nvidia Geforce GTX 550 Ti 1GB GDDR5 Thermaltake Chaser Mk-1 Thermaltake TR2 600W PSU (Soon to be a Thermaltake 800W) Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus CPU Cooler (Push/Pull) Both Extra 200mm Fans for my case (Totaling to 4) Lite-On Litescribe DL DVD +/- R
  • @626ryan88 You should have gotten something better than that 550TI at least a 560Ti!!

  • @TrueYears Yeah I know I plan on upgrading but my only problem is that I'm very picky and I wanted the real Nvidia one. Not one made by MSI or anyone. I don't know I have to check some out and see which 560 Ti I want or maybe a 570. That will have to wait until I upgrade my PSU.

  • @626ryan88 why not? EVGA make very good boards

  • @tingwej02 your not a intelfag who is comparing a i7 ($300 CPU) to a AMD 955 $159 CPU, are you?

  • AMD is about to crush Intels processors very soon, Phenom II x6 already beats the most of the Intel core I7 processors and "Bulldozer" is coming out in 2011 to clean up and take the title of best processors in the world, even the thousand dollar Intel processor won't see what hit it, lol.

  • @TrueYears It's not the boards as much as the visuals but Nvidia's boards are much better they need to make all their own cards then let everyone else make them as well but MSI or EVGA would be my top two.

  • Oh and RipjawsX 16GB DDR3 1333MHz 4x4 RAM

  • @gerardbiteme Not to mention the whole new line of Ivy Bridge Processors from Intel Including Xenon and the rumored i9.

  • @Scott97169 Not really true. My i7-2600k runs very well overclocked and stable at 4.7GHz. For a quad core I could bet money my i7 would outlast and beat any 4.7GHz AMD Phenom II X6. Not to mention I've had a computer with AMD's competing Quad-core and it was no contest even at stock speeds. As far as the "Bulldozer" goes, the I7-3960X is a very fast processor with amazing speeds, but the "Ivy Bridge i9" rumored by Intel would easily compete with only 8 cores. AMD doesn't have enough threads.

  • @xblade2122 I would go for an AMD radeon HD 5570, great little things and have twice the memory of that card, and it's in your price range :D

  • that's the Jeantech Aqua case, is it not? google it if you are unsure
