Watch an adult Golden Eagle soar high above an active nest. The parent eagle will survey the scene before bringing prey to the chicks. Watch these two eyases (raptor chicks) as they stumble around on debris from decades of fallen nest material. . . here they gain strength and prepare for first flight. The nest seen here may be used by different pairs of eagles for more than a hundred years. For information on Golden Eagles please visit the Draper Museum of Natural History at www.bbhc.org

  • Fun video, it is cool that you caught film of the parent arriving, as well as the young after they moved away from the original nest to the lower area.
