This is an instructional video on how to use the Extenders for the ArmaBenders stop motion animation armature kits on http://www.stopmotionstore.com

Visit our main site at http://www.animateclay.com

Ball and socket armatures are the best kinds of armatures for stop motion because they allow for very precise moves of your puppet.

These kits use brass, phosphor bronze, aluminum and steel. So if you want to use them for foam latex puppets you need to wrap it with teflon tape, or the chemical reaction will cause the foam to cure uneven.

  • are they going to make some kind of cheaper version of arma-benders? It's really expensive.

  • Hey Cormiers, I don't think they will make cheaper ones. They are all hand made and really high quality.

  • not asembled but the peices.

  • k thanks. Have you ever considered doing some morph claymations?

  • smart that it doesn't break but personally I think the clay slides on it. Do you mean the wire with the kind of green-blueish plastic coating? If so I tried that too.

  • thanks
