Various explanations state that, mathematically, the figure in white must be "hundreds of feet away" or "be 2/3 the size of a house." A perfectly average adult male, about 30 feet behind the girl and several feet uphill, in light of the shortening effect a camera lens can have on both depth of field and field of view, gives a perfectly proportionate result.

  • One huge problem.... Marsh's don't have slopes they are about as flat a landscape as is possible to find.. The land between the lass and the skyline is virtually flat.

  • @FireMoon42 Based on the photo, I would expect to see at least *something* on the horizon line. I simply don't believe the photo was taken where it is purported to have been taken. The rest of the photo conforms to the girl having been sitting on a slope. Of course, anyone's opinion on the matter is pure speculation without any "real" evidence.

  • @spragers2 Why wouldn't you believe the photo was taken where it is supposedly? Is it that it would poor cold water on your 'debunking' (and I use that term lightly) theory? please state your reasons. As for a shred of evidence obviously three witnesses and a photo don't count for much in your book. What sort of 'evidence' would you require?

  • @mothman2 My personal experience as a photographer tells me that the photo, as is, could not have been taken on a vast expanse of flat land at the apparent angle and result in that image. I just saw a video showing the "very place the photo was taken" and the land is not flat, it's full of little rolling hills. I don't claim to know what it is, just what it isn't. It's fun to speculate, though.

  • That photo has baffled people for years, there is more to it than just the photo, there's a whole story behind it and a government cover up.

Must be an alien of some sort., must be what they tried to hide.

  • ...if only there was even a shred of evidence to support the photographer's story...

  • the video might suck but no one actually believes this do they?, it looks like a man in a radiation suit.

  • @spragers2

With respect ..you didn't see a video of the place it was taken if it had rolling hills cos its chuffin Marsh... how many times do people have to be told that? It is flat as a pancake I have been there have you?

  • This video sucks and doesn't answer any questions...it's just debunking for debunking sake,.

  • Good theory.

  • @noeuro

Your explanation is certainly reasonable, and I tend to agree with you that it is a perfectly normal earth born human being. I think unless you are that woman, know that woman or was there and saw that woman, you should refrain from offering your opinion as fact and simply state it as a possible solution.

You've included way to many details, none of which are supported by the photo. (Except for the arm position suggesting the back of a person).

French pleat hairstyle? I can't see hair.

  • I never heard of this photo, or incident, before I found your video. I did a search to learn more about it, but have yet to find any claim that the figure seems to be 20 feet tall. I see an average sized humanoid figure in light colored "clothing".

Exactly what is it you claim to be debunking? Is it that the figure isn't 20 feet tall, or that the figure isn't unusual?

While I don't claim to know what it is, it certainly seems unusual.

    You've debunked nothing.
