I never saw this before until 6 weeks ago on Netflix. What is the matter with these stupid studos not releasing decent old movies instead of crap like Kill Bill (well, anything with snotty Uma Thurman) and that Resident Evil crap my boyfriend watches? This movie is charming and sexy without the overt innuendos!

Too bad the version of this movie TCM airs doesn't include Hayley singing the song, "Gypsy Girl" (also the film's alternate title).

McShane sure was handsome when he was young here--but I also love the way he has aged. He is still very handsome and has an amazing voice--better now than when he was this age. He's a fantastic actor.
