  • the wackest beat of all time at the beginning of this vid..

  • @lloydbrookes10 If you produce music that sounds like everyone else, guess what? You're not being creative enough for your music to miss the trash bin at a major record label.

I don't expect everyone to like my music -- just the people who are willing to pay for it. To me, it's just one instrumental from a collection of a few thousand . If I can sell that one, I can sell them all.

Thanks for commenting and making me realize that I've got hundreds of thousands of dollars to collect.

  • @EdMagikTV hundreds of thousands of dollars? wowzers! If people like your track then well done, that's great news.. and true, it made an impression on me.. the format reminds me of "Game - How We Do" (heavy beat, no bass melody, simple casio riff) but more hyped up (horns always give a more 'fanfare' vibe).. Dre's How We Do beat is more 'creeping through the streets at night'.. yours sounds more like a ring entrance.

  • @lloydbrookes10 Seriously, I make a beat, sometimes it takes 15 minutes, sometimes it takes a few weeks. Some beats I tend not to favor, others hear something in it that I don't and when they record on it, then I hear what they heard in their mind. So, I don't try to judge my music, I just produce it. If people like it, cool, if they don't that's cool too because I'll just make another beat, one that they will like. It's a numbers game to me.

  • @EdMagikTV i've been composing/producing dark film/soundtrack music since 1994 and have been surprised many times by people loving the tracks i considered weak..

  • @lloydbrookes10 Art is often more appreciated by people other than those who have created it.

  • @lloydbrookes10 I'm glad you took notice and commented.. It made an impression on you. Also, it has been performed in many clubs. Not only do many people like it, but they dance to it and request it. It's been heard worldwide. I've even heard a couple of knock-off songs that have imitated the horn pattern. One was used in a TV commercial. So, it may be the wackest to you, but to me, it's gold. It doesn't sound like everyone else's music, and that is good!

  • @sycomantz yup

  • sot this is where Ruff's been!

  • Okay, I see why Freddie and Manny uses catchweights: to take some advantages AWAY from an opponent. Im neutral on this because, in the ring, its absolute war in there and in war, u take all the advantages you can. If Manny's opponents agree to it, then they are responsible for the results; if they dont like it, dont agree to it. Is it fair? Hey ALL is fair in love and war.....but dont say that Manny is PFP the #1 when he does this.
