Sorry friend. thats no record White Crappie. If you will look in th record books you will find that the world white crappie was caught in Enid Lake at Enid, Ms in 1953, weighing in at over 5 lbs. You can also find this record and see its size at Bass Pro in Springfield , Mo. They have the mount and the writing. As far as I know, that record still stands to this day.

Nope no record. Buy a freshwater fish guide book too-should assist you in identifying what it is you catch.

Ive caught a 14 inch crappie almost 2 pounds, and it looks almost the size of that one, hope i measured wrong, anyways great catch

That's not a record, I caught onebigger than that and the one I caught actually was a white crappie, urs was a black

@funkychicken297 wrong. They both have the spots. On the white, they are arranged in lines. On blacks, they are placed at random. I live in Mississippi, home of the BEST crappie fishin' in the world...
